The MerryTree is a relaxed, welcoming restaurant at Rathwood — a place to slow down, eat well, and enjoy your time here.

We’re open weekends only (Saturdays & Sundays), serving breakfast from 10am–12pm, followed by a seasonal lunch menu that blends comforting classics with modern, world-inspired flavours. Our focus is simple: quality ingredients, thoughtful cooking, and food that feels good to eat.

We work with local and organic produce wherever possible, proudly serve McCabe’s Coffee, roasted locally in Wicklow, and offer a curated selection of Rathwood wines sourced directly from France. And yes — our cakes really are famous. All are baked fresh on-site daily, using the best ingredients.

The MerryTree is a table-service restaurant, with options to suit a range of dietary requirements, including lighter and vegetarian-friendly choices.

Last orders are at 4pm.
