From Dublin
- From the M50 take junction for Cork N7
- Continue to M7
- At junction 11, exit onto M9 toward N10/Port Làirge/Waterford/Cill Chainnigh/Kilkenny/Cill Chuillinn/Kilcullen
- Continue to M9
- Take exit number 4 for Tullow/Castledermot/Carlow
- On Sliproad roundabout, take the 1st exit onto N9 heading to Castledermot
- Sharp right onto Abbey St/R418 (signs for Bealach Conglais/Baltinglass) Continue to follow R418
- Turn left onto Thomas Traynor St
- Turn left onto Bridge St/N81
- Then Follow sign for Rathwood
From Waterford
- At Quarry roundabout take 2nd exit onto the M9 (signposted Dublin)
- Leave the M9 at junction 5, then at roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the N80
- Turn left onto the N81 (signposted Tullow)
- In Tullow continue forward onto Bridge Street - N81
- Bear right onto The Square and then turn right onto Church Street - R725 (signposted Shilllelagh)
- Continue forward onto the R725 for 3 Miles
